Shoutouts¶

Shoutouts! is a learning app designed for students to give shoutouts to and receive shoutouts from other students for exceptional contributions.

How do I... for Instructors¶

Can I choose to moderate shoutouts?: Yes, the ability to moderate shoutouts can be enabled in the Instructor Settings page by selecting the Enable Moderation option. For more information, please see our page on moderating shoutouts.
Can I choose to make shoutouts anonymous?: Yes, shoutouts can be anonymized by selecting the Anonymous to Students option in the Instructor Settings page.
Can I enable/disable specific shoutouts?: Yes, you can enable and disable specific shoutouts by clicking on them in the Potential Shoutouts section of the Instructor Settings page.
Can I add my own shoutouts?: No, at this time, you cannot add custom shoutout types.
Can instructors send shoutouts to students?: No, at this time, instructors cannot send shoutouts.
